This is a book that takes its readers to foreign places and tells them what it is like to live abroad. Nancy describes these places with such detail that the reader can visualize what she is seeing perfectly. She has a sense of humor that gets her through even the most scary situations, alone in a foreign city without knowledge of the language. She invites her readers to meet people even have lunch with a lord of Parliament and see things they have never before seen or done. She is enchanting, clear, and focused for her readers.
