Wow - a real trip down memory lane

I must say it was a lot of fun to read (and of course, write notes in the margins as well). But then again, I may be part of the (albeit small) target audience. But I enjoyed the format (the journal entries with the 'modern' commentary and the 'comments on the comments'). It did make it seem like you were in the middle of a conversation between old friends. And some of the episodes brought back very vivid memories of similar trips. My copy will definitely be handed around the family. I also may use it on occasion to explain to people why when you ask me where home is, the answer is still Munich.
